In Our Lecture Theatre
After a very successful trial at our Wycrail 08 exhibition we are again presenting this feature at our forthcoming Wycrail 09 show. Due to the immense interest shown at last years event we are re-running the talks about DCC.
Jon Jewett, of Sunningwell Command Controls, has agreed to front the 2 talks on DCC. The first will be similar to 2008 showing the novice the whys and wherefores of starting with DCC. His second talk will be on the advancements in DCC and its potentials in the furtherance of our hobby. Although Jon is part of the Digitrax Dealership he has a world of knowledge about DCC in general and presents a talk without pushing his own product. Jon is one of the presenters at the PECO DCC weekends at Beer.
We are very pleased that our good friend Simon Kohler of Hornby has agreed to present a talk about "a model from Idea to completion". Hornby has become our flagship manufacturer and we are all looking forward to this presentation by one of the most influential people in our hobby today.
Our third presentation will be given by the owners of The Model Tree Shop - SiSt Trees. Sara & Steven Bird are looking forward to this new venture and are planning to give their talk on "What a difference a Tree makes". We have all seem them talking to customers whilst selling their product but now we can listen quietly and ask questions without interruptions.
Details of times will be shown in our exhibition guide. The venue is off the main foyer beside the 'Bring & Buy' stand. |
