H0 – Cariboo River

One of the new breed of layouts is this ‘HO’ layout. It primarily designed for modern image diesel hauled freight trains that are sound equipped & DCC controlled.

Layout Update 2025

The layout is still fulfilling its dual roll of testing track for various digital locos of all types, and as being a replication of a minor railway set in a remote part of Western Canada.  Cariboo continues to be a satisfying layout for those that enjoy meaningful operation.  However on club open and running days, things can get somewhat chaotic at times.
